Thaditude

An homage to the modern iconic big band writing of the great Thad Jones, this chart has lots of “Thadisms” written throughout! Composed as a shuffle and based on the changes to “The Groove Merchant” Thaditude is a fun and fresh addition to any program lineup. With changes and backgrounds written in all the parts, this piece can be open wide for solos.  The highest lead trumpet note is an A above the staff, standard saxophone section with no doubles. Very playable by universities and good high school groups!
