The Fulton Files

Commissioned by Jesse Woolery for Denton High School Lab Band 1 Denton, Texas, The Fulton Files is a funky modern fusion piece in the style of Michael Brecker. With a super-cool groove (all parts written out with educational annotations, chord symbols, and suggested comping voicings) and an intense Michael Brecker EWI voicing-style soli, this one is a nice change of pace for any program!

The highest note in the lead trumpet is a concert C above the staff, standard saxophone section with no doubles. Playable by universities and good high school programs. (BTW, that BURNING trombone solo on the demo recording is none other than my man Luke Brimhall of the Airmen of Note!)
