We welcome my dear friend Paul McKee back to You Dig. Sadly, we lost Paul a few months after this taping but I am forever grateful to have recorded this final show. We cover everything from composition to improvisation to the finer points of BBQ. Paul was simply one of the most profoundly gifted musicians I have every known. The complete package really: composer, arranger, pedagogue, and one of the most swinging trombonists to ever play the horn.

Above all else however, Paul was a true “mensch.” AKA an exdemplary human being: funny (HILARIOUS) generous, gracious, honest, and hip. It just gets no better than Paul McKee folks.
