Russell Ferrante
Pianist, co-founder of the Yellowjackets, and extraordinary composer Russell Ferrante joins us for a conversation you will NOT want to miss...
To enter the oeuvre of Russell Ferrante is to immerse yourself in the pianistic swinging land of cutting-edge composition and brilliant melodic improvisation at the highest possible level. If that sounds overly poetic and fan-boy like… well that’s because it IS! 😛 Russ is simply one of my favorite musicians on the planet.
The co-founder of the legendary Yellowjackets and the wonderfully diverse dynamo of piano and keyboard based composition, Russell Ferrante joins us on the groovy front porch here in the hippest crib in the village for a wide-ranging discussion that covers everythng from Jimmy Witherspoon to the meaning of life. And THAT is no hypebole! You dig?
So pour yourself a drop or two of something cheerful and join us…
