Tom “Bones” Malone

Season 1 where the shows were audio-only and feature film length (pre sampler platter) and the podcast was called "The Leadology Podcast.” In this pre-video era it was trombonists only (in conjunction with my book "Leadology") On S1, Ep10, we featured the legendary Tom "Bones" Malone.

One of the truly iconic trombonists of all time Tom “Bones” Malone joined us on what would soon become the front porch of the hippest crib in the village. Tom’s performance resume is one of the most extensive of all times, plus he is a stunning multi-instrumentalist playing ALL the wind instruments AND bass! From founding and directing the original SNL band, playing with Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Frank Zappa, to the original Blues Brothers Band, Bones has been with EVERYONE! Stories were shared and sparkly discussions ensued!
